The first of its kind

The project has successfully established Hospital Sant Joan de Deu as an architectural landmark in Barcelona's nighttime landscape, the first Hospital in the city to feature a digital lighting facade. The system demonstrates how healthcare facilities can balance architectural presence with operational requirements through thoughtful design and reliable technologies.
