Barcelona-based studio Tigrelab, with its long-standing experience in 2D and 3D animation, used ProtoPixel smart lighting technology for a show called “ALICE” at the inauguration of the “Festival de Mapping de Morelia” in Mexico in 2016.
The performance by choreographer Núria Guiu was dedicated to producing interactive experiences where graphic design and cinema are integrated into rules, generative environments and interactive lighting technology.
“ALICE” is a performance mixing contemporary dance, expressive lighting, scenography and video, addressing new technologies and social networks. The users were involved as a fundamental part of the development and evolution of a story to create suggestive experiences.
