ProtoPixel always strives to help creative minds express themselves through light, no matter where they are. To that end, together with our partners Sónar Festival and Factory Berlin we have organised the 'Lighting Takeover Barcelona <> Berlin', a workshop within the special edition of Sónar+D CCCB 2020.
Mentored by ProtoPixel and digital artist Maotik (from Berlin), this lighting design workshop was an online co-creation activity taking place in physical spaces rather than in screens. +20 designers from all around the world participated in the creation of immersive generative lighting for the ProtoPixel Studio (in Barcelona) and Factory Berlin in real time.
